The orthophysical app provides a means of measuring and monitoring knee range of motion. This app also provides new features to monitor pain and satisfaction levels through a simple functional testing system. Additionally, physicians can monitor wound patient healing using the Wound Inspection feature.

Using the App, Knee range of motion can be measured with two different techniques comprising an image capture or a Gyroscope system. Once obtained, range of motion measurements can be stored and viewed in graphical and list form.

The Gyroscope system provides a quick and easy way to measure knee range of motion. This features allows you to use your mobile device as a goniometer to measure knee range of motion with the gyroscope function. Knee flexion and extension are measured by placing the edge of the device on the thigh and shin and clicking the snap button.

With the image capture system virtual markers are placed over the upper leg, knee and lower leg to determine knee range of knee motion. An additional feature is also available in this mode where the app auto detects circular markers physically placed on the patient to substitute the virtual markers selection process.

Pictures of surgical wounds can be captured, labeled and archived using the Wound Inspection feature. Images can be viewed later by date.

The orthophysical application can also be used to measure pain and satisfaction scores using the Functional Test Feature. A 5 point scale is used to measure satisfaction. Pain scores are recorded using an 11 point visual analogue scale ranging from 0 to 10. Results can be saved and viewed later in graphical or list form
